Have you always wanted to try meditation but don’t really know what it’s about or how to start? Or are you just interested in trying to find something new to help calm your nerves during the quarantine? Please join us on Zoom for a simple introduction to meditation and some reflective time to dedicate to yourself and catching up with the BCO gang. We'll cover the basics of meditation like body positioning, breath, identifying thoughts, meditation apps that are popular, and how you can learn more about the practice of mindfulness if you're interested. We'll also do a few short examples.
You can sit anywhere that allows you to put your feet firmly on the ground when you're sitting, or you can lay on the ground/a yoga mat.
